Thank Goodness....

Alvin is back to 99.99% power. The only people left without power are individuals who have problems on their property. Our Internet is back! The company who provides our Internet sent a repairman out today. He said that we were back up and running. I ask him to at least change out the modem. He did. Anyway we are back in the saddle again!

I broke the lid to our crock pot two days ago. I have had that crock pot for over 15 years. Anyway I am really happy to finally get to buy a new one. I am getting a 7 quart one. Hopefully I will be able to cook 3 or 4 roast at a time with one that large. Most likely the next appliance we will have to buy is a new coffee pot. The one we have is still going strong, but who knows how much longer it will last.

Speaking of coffee...my favorite coffee is Community Coffee. It's from Louisiana and it taste awesome. In New Orleans they have coffee houses called CC's. You can read about it here. I have been able to sway MSH to love this coffee also. We used to grind our own beans and that coffee was very good. Anyway now we are stuck on Community.

Speaking of New Orleans...I really miss it. It has been too long since I was last there. Plus, I want to go there with MSH and show him around. I want to show him my New Orleans away from the French Quarter.
